Drum Major Applications DUE 3.1

It is time to start searching for next year’s drum majors. Each year interested students go through a rigorous audition process to become one of the 3 main leaders of the marching band. This is open to all current sophomore and junior students involved in marching band.

Below are the important dates so interested students can start planning.

Friday, March 1st – Applications Due by 5 pm

Tuesday, March 5th – Clinic 2:30-4:00

Thursday, March 7th – Clinic 2:30-4:00

Monday, March 11th – Interviews 2:30-3:30

Tuesday, March 12th – Clinic 2:30-4:00

Thursday, March 14th – Clinic 10:30-12:00

Friday, March 15th – Conduct all three band classes

Freshman students interested in becoming a drum major in the future, the best thing you can start doing now is building relationships with people all over the band. Branch out and gain the respect of as many peers as possible. Improving your musicianship and marching ability over the next year is also important!
